Bro Code by Kendall Ryan

Contemporary Romance

May 1st

Would you forsake the BRO CODE that has been implanted in the male DNA for a chance at a once-in-a-lifetime LOVE?

A conundrum that Barrett faces everyday eversince he saw Ava in a bikini. And he has been working really hard not to act on those feelings, wishing that it was because of his teenage hormones. But when he sees her again, all of his feelings come back and he doesn’t know if he can stay away from her anymore.

Ava, just took over the company because her father had to go on an early retirement. Everyone else thinks that it would be best for the family as well as the company to just sell it off. But Ava is determined to prove that she has what it takes to build the factory into a thriving business, and this in turn will give their longtime employees the means to support their families. She has to be focused on the factory and nothing else. But then Barrett shows up for her father’s retirement party and throws a wrench on her carefully thought out plans.

Barrett had one goal in mind, and that is to make partner. That’s why he has been working 80-hour work weeks just to prove that he’s very hardworking and worthy of the promotion. Although he was tempted at every turn when he went back to Indiana, he tried his damnedest to stay away from Ava, always thinking about the bro code and what it would do with his and Nick’s friendship as well as not being able to be there for Ava because of his crazy work schedule. But, forbidden love has a way of shoving two people in a frenzy especially if the feelings that they have bottled inside are bursting at the seams.

Brother’s BFF/BFF’s younger sister; unrequited love; scorching hot we-might-get-caught fooling around? YES PLEASE! This book has got your fantasies covered. I was really into the sneaking around and the thrill of getting caught, it really built up the sexual tension. And it also showed that Barrett really lived by the bro code so long as the p didn’t enter the v 🤪🤣 Kudos to you Ms. Kendall Ryan, you made reading this book so enjoyable that I had no sleep because I can’t stop reading it.

“Bro code or not, I still had eyes, and a hundred adolescent dreams were just overwritten.”

“My mom would say that plans are like cookies—no matter how closely you follow the recipe, something completely different can pop right out of the oven.”

“He's the reason I wish my vibrator wasn't packed away with all my other belongings deep in the garage.”

***ARC graciously given in exchange for an honest review.

From New York Times bestselling author Kendall Ryan comes a flirty new standalone about falling for your older brother's best friend.

There’s pretty much only one rule when you’re a guy.

Don’t be a douche.

Turns out, the fastest way to break that rule is to fall for your best friend’s sister.

Ava’s brilliant, sharp-tongued, gorgeous, and five years younger than me.

She’s the sexual equivalent of running with scissors. In a word, she’s dangerous. And completely off-limits.

Falling for her could ruin everything.

Yet I can’t seem to stop, even when her company is threatened by a lawsuit, and my promotion hinges on representing the opposing client—and winning.

I can’t see a way out of this mess that doesn’t end in a broken friendship, a broken heart, or a ruined career.

I may have broken the bro code when I fell for Ava. But do I have the balls to handle what comes next?
